NWS Holdings currently has five power plants in Guangdong, Sichuan and Macau, with a total installed capacity of approximately 2,892 MW and one coal distributor company in Guangdong operates coal handling pier with capacity of seven million tonnes per year. In FY2009, the power plants sold 15,454 GWh (excluding Guangdong Baolihua New Energy).

Chengdu Jintang Power Plant

  • Capacity: 1,200 MW
  • NWS Holdings' attributable interest: 35%
  • Expiry Year: 2040
  • Location: Sichuan

Guangzhou Fuel Co.

  • Capacity: 7 million tonnes/year
  • NWS Holdings' attributable interest: 35%
  • Expiry Year: 2033
  • Location: Guangdong
