• HML celebrated its 23rd anniversary with an Anniversary Cocktail Reception.

August 2011

• NWS Holdings announced that New World First Holdings Limited which is jointly owned 50-50 by Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited and NWS Holdings has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Shun Tak – China Travel Shipping Investments Limited to dispose of all shares in New World First Ferry Services (Macau) Limited. The disposal, amounted to approximately HK$350 million, will consolidate the Group’s resources and align its business focus on high growth areas.

July 2011

• With NWS Holdings as the major shareholder, Newton Resources Ltd, stock code: 1231, was listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

April 2011

• Hip Hing Construction Company Limited celebrated its 50th Anniversary with a cocktail reception. Around 400 guests were in attendance. Officiating guests included Carrie Lam, Secretary for Development and Dr Cheng Yu Tung, Chairman of New World Group, etc..
• New World First Ferry Services Limited is awarded the licences of operating Central – Mui Wo and Inner Harbour ferry services and the licenses to operate ferry services plying between Central and Cheung Chau as well as the Inter Islands. Both licenses have already taken effect.

January 2011

• The Topping Out Ceremony for the Tamar Development Project, one of the projects of Hip Hing, was held to mark the completion of the superstructure works and the start of associated fitting out works. The project is expected to be completed by mid 2011.
