- NWS Holdings announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Moscan Developments Limited, entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Kaiming Holdings Limited in respect of the acquisition of an aggregate of 75% of the total issued shares in Widefaith Group Limited, representing approximately 36.34%
effective interest in Hangzhou Ring Road (“HZRR”). Upon completion,the Group’s effective interest in HZRR will increase from approximately 58.66% to 95%.
- NWS Holdings announced that Wuhan Sino French
Waste Water Treatment Co. Ltd., a joint venture
with Wuhan Chemical Industry Park, Degremont Water
Treatment Systems (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, was established through its joint venture SFWD. The effective interest of NWS Holdings is 21.5%.

- The indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Grace Crystal Limited of NWS Holdings entered into a capital increase agreement with Tianjin Expressway Group Co., Ltd, pursuant to which the total investment amount and registered capital of Tianjin Xinzhan Expressway Company Limited which is engaged in the construction and management of Tangjin Expressway (Tianjin North Section) will be increased by RMB3,657.23 million and RMB1,219.10 million respectively.
- NWS Holdings announced that New World First Holdings Limited which is jointly owned 50-50 by Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited and NWS Holdings has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Shun Tak – China Travel Shipping Investments Limited to dispose of all shares in New World First Ferry Services (Macau) Limited. The disposal, amounted to approximately HK$350 million, will consolidate the Group’s resources and align its business focus on high growth areas.

- NWS Holdings announced that a subsidiary of the Group issued CNY guaranteed bonds in an aggregate principal amount of CNY1 billion at an offer price of 99.288%, bearing an interest rate of 2.75% per annum and due in 2014.

- NWS Holdings announced the signing of sale and purchase agreement with Widefaith Group Limited for the acquisition of approximately 21.55% effective interest in Hangzhou Ring Road in Zhejiang Province at a consideration of approximately HK$1.769 billion.

- NWS Holdings announced the acquisition of interest in three water projects in Jiangsu province through its joint venture entity with an attributed total investment amount of approximately RMB300 million. The three water projects, namely Nanjing Golden State Chengbei Waste Water Treatment Plant, Taizhou Golden State Water Plant and Taizhou Golden Harbor Water Plant, are already in operation with a concession period of 30 years.

- The Topping Out Ceremony for the Tamar Development Project, one of the projects of Hip Hing, was held to mark the completion of the superstructure works and the start of associated fitting out works. The project is expected to be completed by mid 2011.
