Co-organised by NWS Holdings and Green Power, "HK‧Love‧Trees" is the first
large-scale and sustainable tree conservation project in Hong Kong that enables
the public to share their memories and appreciation of different species of
trees in Hong Kong. A series of activities including the selection of the most
popular tree in Hong Kong through nomination, writing, photos, bus body design
competitions, etc would be organized to celebrate trees and raise public
awareness on trees conservation and climate change. It is also the kick-off
activity of NWS Holdings Charities Foundation.

| A walk to appreciate and learn more about trees (May 2008)
HK.Love.Trees designed three tree trails at Victoria Park, Kowloon Park and Tuen Mun Park, where tree walks were organized for about 70 volunteers in April and May 2008. Some of the participating volunteers even became tour guides for school teachers on the tree walks.
To facilitate effective environmental education, a Journey of Trees Teachers'Guidebook was published with a CD-Rom to introduce readers to the 42 tree species of the three tree trails as well as the skills in leading tree-mapping activities.

| HK.Love.Trees launches 10 "Moving banyan" buses across Hong Kong (February 2008)
"Moving Banyan Tree" Bus Body Design Competition received overwhelming response with more than 4,200 entries. On the theme of the relationship between banyan trees and Hong Kong people, primary pupils demonstrated their talents through creative bus body design. The winning entries of the two categories of Junior Group (Primary 1-3) and Senior Group (Primary 4-6) were displayed on 10 "Moving banyan" buses running across Hong Kong, in order to raise public awareness of banyan tree conservation and bring Hong Kong a breath of green air.
With relevance to the subject, overall appearance and creativity as the judging criteria, the judges highly rated the standards of the entries in general. The champion of the Senior Group was able to clearly demonstrate the theme "banyan trees conservation", while the winning design of Junior Group is distinguished by a childlike freshness as well as creativity.
