| NWS Volunteer Alliance celebrates its 7th anniversary by sending love to Guangzhou (8 November 2008)
NWS Volunteer Alliance visited Guangzhou on 8 November 2008 to celebrate its 7th anniversary and also serve the community together with the corporate volunteer team of New World China, NWCL Volunteer.
Under the arrangement of The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council, Mr Kwan Chuk Fai, Group Director-Corporate Affairs of New World Development and Mr Kenneth Geng, Regional Director-Southern China of New World China Land, together with 34 members of NWS Volunteer Alliance and NWCL Volunteer formed groups and visited the solitary elderly and underpriviledged in Feng Yan Jie. The volunteers remarked their needs and presented them a pack of gift; while another group of volunteers stayed at the elderly homes where they enjoyed their time with the elderly. At the same occasion, Mr Kwan Chuk Fai and Ms Maria Cheung, Assistant General Manager - Corporate Communication of NWS Holdings, presented awards to the members of "NWS Volunteer Alliance" who recorded the highest number of hours served last year.

| NWS Volunteer Alliance celebrates its sixth anniversary (11 November 2007)
To celebrate the sixth anniversary of the NWS Volunteer Alliance and recognize
the selfless contributions of the volunteers, nearly 50 volunteers and their
families were invited to go on a boat trip on 11 November 2007. Mr C F Kwan,
General Manager - Corporate Communication and Ms Maria Cheung, Senior Manager -
Corporate Communication of NWS Holdings presented awards to staff and non-staff
volunteers with the highest service hours over the past year. Volunteers and
their family members went hiking on Lamma Island afterwards and shared an
enjoyable Sunday together.

| NWS Volunteer Alliance's fifth Anniversary Celebration (26 November 2006)
To celebrate its fifth anniversary, NWS Volunteer Alliance invited more than 70
volunteers and their families to Yuen Long Kam Tin Country Club on 26 November
2006 for a day of fun and games. They played team-building games, had lunch and
enjoyed various activities in the park. Mr Patrick Lam, Mr Tommy Cheung,
Executive Directors, and Mr C F Kwan, General Manager - Corporate Communication
of NWS Holdings, presented awards to staff and non-staff volunteers with the
highest service hours over the past year.

NWS Volunteer Alliance's Fourth Anniversary Celebration
(20 November 2005)
Celebrating its fourth anniversary, NWS Volunteer Alliance accumulated over
18,000 community service hours and the volunteer team comprised about 930
members. About 140 volunteers and their associates were invited to the
celebration event held in Kerry Lake Egret Nature Park in Tai Po. They played
team-building games, had barbecue lunch and enjoyed the various activities in
the park. Mr Tommy Cheung, Executive Director of NWS Holdings, and Mr C F Kwan,
General Manager - Corporate Communication of NWS Holdings, presented the
Outstanding Volunteer Awards to staff and non-staff volunteers having devoted
the highest service hours over the past year respectively.

| NWS Volunteer Alliance's Third Anniversary Day Camp (14 November 2004)
Since its inauguration in 2001, NWS Volunteer Alliance has contributed nearly
10,000 hours in community service and the number of volunteers has already
grown to about 580.
About 80 volunteers and their family members spent a relaxed and enjoyable
Sunday at Tso Kung Tam Outdoor Recreation Centre to celebrate the third
anniversary of NWS Volunteer Alliance. Through ice-breaking games and an
orienteering challenge, volunteers got acquainted with each other and team
spirit was enhanced. Mr Tsang Yam Pui, Executive Director of NWS Holdings,
presented awards to outstanding volunteers who have contributed the highest
service hours over the past year. Committee members were also recognized for
their tremendous devotion in promoting volunteering within the Group.

| NWS Volunteer Alliance Second Anniversary Celebration (2 November 2003)
Inaugurated on 17 November 2001, the NWS Volunteer Alliance now has more than
440 members and contributed over 5,700 hours to serve our community. On 2
November 2003, 74 volunteers with their families gathered at a BBQ site in Sai
Kung to celebrate the second birthday of NWS Volunteer Alliance.
After the woodland conservation work in the morning, the volunteers enjoyed a
delicious barbecue buffet lunch together. We also recognized outstanding
volunteers (staff and non-staff volunteers) and appreciated the work of fellow
taskforce members who had contributed a lot in coordination of various
volunteer services.

| NWS Volunteer Alliance First Anniversary Celebration (16 November 2002)
The First Anniversary Celebration of NWS Volunteer Alliance with more than 50
volunteers participating was successfully held on board the Grand Cru on 16
November 2002. Recognitions were given to 10 dedicated Task Force Members, as
well as 10 outstanding volunteers with the highest service hours.
Thanks for the endeavours made by all fellow volunteers, NWS Volunteer Alliance
has now evolved into a team with 360 volunteers and accumulated service hours
exceeding 3,000.

| Official Launching Ceremony (17 November 2001)
NWS Volunteer Alliance, a volunteer team formed by the staff of NWS Holdings,
was officially launched on 17 November 2001 with the aim of encouraging its
more than 20,000 fellow staff to help the people in need and build a caring
society. The ceremony was officiated by Mrs Carrie Lam, JP, Director of Social
Welfare; Mr Marco Wu, JP, Deputy Director of Housing; and Mr K L Chan, Chief
Executive Officer of NWS Holdings.
Immediately after the ceremony, together with the officiating guests and NWS
senior management, members of NWS Volunteer Alliance visited the home-alone
elderly residing at Hong Tung Estate in Sai Wan Ho and Oi Tung Estate in Shau
Kei Wan as well as those in the Riviera Elderly Centre.
