Life Rejuvenation Scheme 2008 to promote family harmony (16 August 2008)

NWS Volunteer Alliance joined hands with KLPS to promote family harmony. Nearly 30 volunteers visited YWCA Butterfly Bay Integrated Social Service Centre on 16 August 2008, where the volunteer magicians and clowns gave performances to bring joy and positive messages to the beneficiary families. The happy gathering was topped off with fun magic workshops for the families and a tea party for all.

Life Rejuvenation Scheme 2008 to conjure up family harmony
(31 May and 21 June 2008)

Nearly 60 volunteers of NWS Volunteer Alliance joined hands with YWCA to promote family harmony in Tin Shui Wai and Sha Tau Kok on 31 May and 21 June 2008 respectively. The volunteers visited families in Tin Shui Wai, one of the beneficiary districts, on NWS Caring Day 2008, offered tips on achieving family harmony and conducted a questionnaire survey of the families. The volunteers trained as magic and clowning performers brought joy and positive messages to the elderly in Sha Tau Kok through their performances. Volunteers also paid visits to the elderly at their homes.
