Various charity event sponsorships (October to December 2007)

NWS Charities Foundation sponsored various charity events including the 2nd Hong Kong & Macau O! Day organized by the Salvation Army, Eco-tour for patient care attendants organized by Kwai Chung Hospital and UNICEF Charity Run during October to December.

Volunteers help raise fund in flag days (October - December 2007)

The volunteers of NWS Volunteer Alliance took part in several flag days from October to December which helped raise fund for the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, Life Education Activity Programme, Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power, Hong Kong Society for the Blind, Alliance for Patients' Mutual Help Organization and Chai Wan Area Kai-Fong Welfare Association respectively.

ACCA Charity Fun Day (9 December 2007)

NWS Charities Foundation sponsored ACCA Charity Fun Day on 9 December 2007 to raise funds for Hong Kong PHAB Association, S.K.H. St. Christopher's Home and The Parents' Association of Pre-school Handicapped Children. As a Corporate Sponsor, the Group also entered the rickshaw race and hosted a game booth. It was the sixth consecutive year the Group participated in the event.

NWS Charities Foundation in support of Massage for Charity (November 2007)

NWS Charities Foundation has been sponsoring the Healthcare Massage Integrated Service Massage for Charity programme organized by Employees Retraining Board (ERB). Corporate sponsors of the programme can arrange massage services for their staff offered by graduate retrainees of ERB. The funds raised in the event are donated to Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.

Volunteers help raise fund in flag days (June - September 2007)

The volunteers of NWS Volunteer Alliance took part in several flag days from June to September which helped raise fund for China Care Fund Limited, Hong Kong Federation of Handicapped Youth, the Welfare Fund, Raleigh International Hong Kong, the Comfort Care Concern Group, H.K.S.K.H Lady MacLehose Centre and the Hong Kong Joint Council of Parents of the Mentally Handicapped respectively.

Rice Sale for Oxfam (26 May 2007)

NWS Holdings Charities Foundation donated HK$30,000 to support the annual fundraising event Oxfam Rice Sale and set up an Oxfam Rice stall in Central on 26 May 2007. Over 20 volunteers from NWS Volunteer Alliance, together with their families and friends, participated in the event and raised over HK$10,000. The proceeds will go to the Oxfam China Development Fund for financing poverty alleviation projects in Mainland China.

The volunteers of NWS Volunteer Alliance took part in several flag days in April which helped raise fund for Society for the Welfare of the Autistic Persons and Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children respectively.
