Volunteers help raise fund in flag days (October V December 2006)

The volunteers of NWS Volunteer Alliance took part in several flag days from October to December which helped raise fund for Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps, Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care and Chai Wan Baptist Church Social Service respectively.

Company with a heart (3 December 2006)

NWS Holdings and UPML respectively support the promotion of youth volunteering under the Heart to Heart Project organized by The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Group for the second consecutive year. As a Heart to Heart Company, the Group and a Heart to Heart School Volunteer Corps will carry out community services together.

Hong Kong & Macau O! Day (21 October 2006)

Two teams jointly formed by NWS Holdings and Macao Water participated in the Hong Kong & Macau O! Day, a charity orientation activity organized by the Salvation Army Hong Kong and Macau Command. The contestants started out from Hong Kong and finished the game in Macau with outstanding results.

Volunteer orientation and training workshop (22 April 2006)

NWS Volunteer Alliance organized a workshop for volunteers at NWFB's training room. More than 20 participants, including new and old volunteers, got to know each other and learn the techniques of serving the elderly, children and youth through sharing, discussion and games led by veteran volunteers.

ACCA Charity Fun Day (22 January 2006)

NWS Holdings sponsored ACCA Charity Fun Day for the fourth consecutive year and participated in its exciting rickshaw race to raise funds for Harmony House, Hong Kong PHAB Association and The Spastics Association of Hong Kong.
