Haircutting service for the elderly (2 December 2006)

Volunteers provided haircutting service for the elderly residents of Care & Services (North Point) and H.K.S.K.H. Tsz Wan Shan Day Care Centre for the Elderly.

Home cleaning for the elderly (5 August 2006)

NWS Volunteer Alliance participated in a service organized by YWCA Ming Yue District Elderly Centre. Volunteers helped solitary elderly in Sai Wan Ho and Quarry Bay districts to clean up their homes and do simple repair and maintenance work.

Visit elderly home in Cheung Chau (8 July 2006)

Following the visit to single elders in April, NWS Volunteer Alliance joined the students of Cheung Chau Fisheries Joint Association Public School again to pay a caring visit to an elderly home in Cheung Chau. The volunteers brought joy to the elders as they presented gift bags, played games and sang songs with them.

About 30 volunteers joined the students of Cheung Chau Fisheries Joint Association Public School to visit single elders in Cheung Chau with gift bags and help the elderly clean their homes. The school was sponsored by NWS Holdings in the Heart-to-Heart Project to carry out volunteer service.
