Christmas elderly visit for Po Leung Kuk (10 December 2005)
About 20 volunteers of NWS Volunteer Alliance participated in an activity
organized by Po Leung Kuk to visit solitary elderly in Lam Tin district to
deliver care and warmth before Christmas.

| Elderly visit and survey (5 November 2005)
Volunteers conducted another visit to the elderly in Quarry Bay district for
Hong Kong YWCA Ming Yue District Elderly Community Centre to show care to these
elderly people and help find out their needs for the centre.

| Elderly outing in Sai Kung (31 October 2005)
NWS Volunteer Alliance assisted in an outing activity for Hong Kong Sheng Kung
Hui Tsz Wan Shan Day Care Centre for the Elderly, taking elders on wheelchairs
around Sai Kung to enjoy its beautiful scenery.

| SCHSA flag day (15 October 2005)
NWS Holdings supported the flag day of Senior Citizen Home Safety Association by
displaying posters, placing donation boxes in offices and recruiting volunteers
to sell flags.

Po Leung Kuk District Elderly Campaign
(24-25 September & 15 October 2005)
The volunteer teams of NWS Holdings and UPML participated in the District
Elderly Campaign organized by Po Leung Kuk, and visited the elderly in Kwun
Tung on 24-25 September and Wong Tai Sin on 15 October respectively.

| Elderly visit and survey (16 September 2005)
On the day before Mid-Autumn Festival, volunteers visited the elderly in Quarry
Bay district with mooncakes and fruits. Survey was also conducted to help the
elderly centre to understand their needs.

| Mid-Autumn Festival celebration for the elderly (16 September 2005)
Nearly 40 NWS Volunteer Alliance volunteers were engaged in the Mid-Autumn
festival celebration event organized by Hong Kong YWCA Ming Yue District
Elderly Community Centre for the fourth consecutive year. Volunteers assisted
the catering arrangement and played mass games with the elderly.

| Volunteers trained for Elder Ring service (3 & 10 September 2005)
About 16 volunteers attended training and practice sessions at the hotline
centre of Senior Citizen Home Safety Association to acquire the skills and
techniques in communicating with the elderly for preparation of their
engagement in the Elder Ring service.

| Home cleaning for solitary elderly (3 September 2005)
Members of NWS Volunteer Alliance visited solitary elderly in Sai Wan Ho and
Quarry Bay districts and helped them clean up their homes. The service was
coordinated by Hong Kong YWCA Ming Yue District Elderly Community Centre.

| Rice dumplings to the elderly (4 June 2005)
On the weekend before the Dragon Boat Festival, more than 50 volunteers joined
the elderly concerned visit organized by Hong Kong YWCA Ming Yue District
Elderly Community Centre to deliver rice dumplings to the solitary elderly in
Sai Wan Ho and Quarry Bay districts.

| Visit to PE Link and Elder Ring hotline centre (16 April 2005)
More than 30 members of NWS Volunteer Alliance visited the hotline centre of
Senior Citizen Home Safety Association. Its Executive Director Mr Timothy Ma
introduced the services and daily operation of Personal Emergency Link ("PE
Link") and Elder Ring. He also helped volunteers understand more on elderly
service skills by means of role play. NWS Volunteer Alliance will recruit
volunteers for the Elder Ring service afterwards.

| Chinese New Year Elderly Concerned Visit (29 January 2005)
Kicking off NWS Holdings' Caring Month, an elderly concerned visit was organized
on the second anniversary of the Group's first trading day. More than 150
volunteers from 18 subsidiaries, led by Executive Director Mr Tsang Yam Pui and
Mr Andrew Wong, visited solitary elders in Quarry Bay and Sai Wan Ho with
tangerines, cotton quilts, New Year cakes, dried sausages and Fai Chun.
